A Year of Hope Heals
A year ago today, we posted our first post on Hope Heals. We didn't know how this new site would be received, but we were blessed by your overwhelming response from that first day until now. Thank you so much for your support.
It was a necessary transition from www.katherinewolf.info--with mostly specific prayer and medical updates--but the shift to sharing the ongoing story of our lives and the hope that continues to heal our souls via Hope Heals was certainly going to be a very different story. We hope it has encouraged you as much as it has encouraged us as we've shared it.
One of the many wonderful things that have transpired over the course of this year is that Jay and I have been given the beautiful and challenging and redemptive opportunity to share our lives and our ministry together. I get a lot of credit for things that I not only might not be able to do physically but have no talent for in the first place! Hope Heals would not be able to function without all he does. I am so excited for him to make more of a jump to focusing his full-time efforts on helping us to communicate our story in many different ways in the future.
{June 2012}
Many things have transpired in our lives over the past year: surgeries, ministry opportunities, new relationships and transitions. We look forward to what the Lord has in store for our lives as we steward this "megaphone of hope" that the Lord has given us through the unique avenue of suffering.
In the past several months, we have felt an undeniable pull to continue sharing our story as we've been presented with diverse opportunities, ones which we haven't ever even sought out. We are in the process of formalizing Hope Heals into a ministry and a non-profit, as well as focusing more of our full-time efforts on exploring different ministry opportunities.
We would appreciate your prayers for wisdom and direction in this process (check out the white "Ministry" button at the top of the page). We are not exactly sure what Hope Heals will be years from now, but we are continually humbled, honored, and excited to experience God transforming the worst thing in our lives into something so precious and so good. And this IS good. Things are always good in the morning. Hope Heals is our morning. Psalm 30:5, "...Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning."
